Ingredients:
1 activated serving of Magic Mince (Asian Infusion)
1 tbsp sesame oil or neutral oil of choice
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
1 small onion, finely diced
1 carrot, grated
1 cup water chestnuts, diced
1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
1 tbsp oyster sauce (or vegan alternative)
8–10 iceberg or cos lettuce leaves (washed and dried)
Chopped spring onions and sesame seeds (for garnish)
Lime wedges (to serve)
Tip: To bulk prep or cook for a party, multiply these ingredients by four and use a whole jar of Magic Mince
Feed Me Quick: Instructions
1. Heat the sesame oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
2. Add garlic, ginger, and onion, stirring until fragrant (about 1–2 minutes).
3. Add Magic Mince, stirring for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked.
4. Toss in carrots, water chestnuts, and mushrooms. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until softened.
5. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, mixing well to coat all ingredients.
6. Remove from heat and spoon the filling into prepared lettuce cups.
7. Garnish with chopped spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges for a tangy kick.
